You can now place your own Interlibrary Loan requests!

You must have an account set up by the librarian to request your own books. To set up an account, or for any questions, please contact the Interlibrary Loan Librarian at the Main Library at 364-7305.

Librarian is available Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Note:  Items that the library already owns cannot be borrowed, so please check the library catalog before making any requests.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PLACING INTERLIBRARY LOAN REQUESTS ONLINE

To Login:

Go to LoanShark
The Library should say: b1ib

Your username is your first and last name as one word.

Your password is userpass for your first log-in.  It will prompt you to change your password then.  Please change it to something memorable for you.

Once you have logged in, you can search for your item(s).  When you find what you want, click on the title link and a new screen will pop up.  You will see on the top right hand corner.  Click on this and another screen will pop up already filled in with your information.  Review for accuracy.  The Main Library is already filled in, but if you would like to receive your book at a branch, click the pull down menu and select the appropriate branch.  Then click submit.   If you don't see your item, you can create a request by clicking on Blank Request Form.  Please try to include as much information as possible, including Author name, Title, Publisher, Date, and ISBN.  If ordering copies from a journal or magazine or microfilm, please include how much you are willing to pay for these copies, otherwise the request will not get filled.

By clicking on Patron Menu, you can track your requests.

Requests are not guaranteed and are subject to the lending library's discretion.
